Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme, Tarragon
This herb blend is great in an orange glaze. Combine one container of finely chopped herbs with 2 cups orange juice, 2 cups orange marmalade, and 4 Tbsp brown sugar in a medium saucepot. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 10 minutes or until sauce starts to thicken. Set aside to cool. This delicious glaze can be brushed onto grilled meats or served on the side as a dipping sauce for crispy chicken nuggets or fried shrimp.
This blend of herbs is also great chopped and added to roasted vegetables. Simply toss vegetables in a little oil and add the chopped herbs. Bake uncovered until golden brown.
Another great use for this BBQ blend is to make an infused oil for grilled vegetables, meat, and even salads. Simply add whole stems of herbs to a bottle of your best olive oil and store in the pantry for up to two weeks.
