Greek Turkey Burgers

You Will Need

  • Mint, 2 Tbsp, chopped
  • Oregano, 1 Tbsp, finely chopped
  • Ground Turkey Breast, 1 lb
  • Salt, ½ Tbsp
  • Pepper, ½ Tbsp
  • Lemon Juice, 1 Tbsp
  • Olive Oil, 1 Tbsp
  • Plain Yogurt, ¼ cup
  • Red Onion, ¼ cup, finely chopped
  • Garlic, 2 cloves, finely chopped

Recipe Serves: 4

Instructions:
1. Preheat a large grill pan or outdoor grill over medium heat
2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to evenly combine meat with seasoning
3. Divide mixture into 4 even pieces and shape into burger patties. Drizzle each with olive oil
4. Grilled turkey burgers over medium heat 5-6 minutes per side
5. While burgers are cooking, combine yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped mint, set aside to chill
6. To assemble burgers, spread mint sauce on 4 toasted buns and top with grilled patties. Serve with mixed greens and sliced tomatoes.
