Due to oxidation you need to keep the leaf and the gel away from oxygen. You can wrap the gel with plastic foil.

You can save some space by cutting the gel into slabs, place them inside an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator. This will preserve the properties of the gel up to seven days, even more if the gel is freezer.

Usage tips: This wonderful plant has many, many uses, it is said that it helps soothing rashes and skin irritations. Users say it improves the healing rate of skin burns caused my sunlight or any other source.
